Since 2002, Sagiv has been active in buying and selling commercial property with an emphasis on value added deals that require that knowledgeable asset management. Sagiv began his real estate career in Brokerage with Marcus where he was successful in brokering over 100 transactions in Southern California. Sagiv established Rosano Partners to create an integrated full service brokerage and the Real Estate Private Equity firm Roman Group.
Sagiv has personally initiated, brokered and executed more than $550 million of real estate transactions. Sagiv specializes in finding unique off and on market investment opportunities, placements and development. Sagiv successfully initiated and executed Eleven syndicated deals with Investors who are his best references. On his latest exit a 44 units on Rampart, Sagiv’s investors realized 24% IRR and 2.1 Equity multiple on a 4 year hold.
Sagiv was also an investment banker with Lehman Brothers M&A and Corporate Finance Group. In addition to processing, initiating financing and M&A transactions, he designed and implemented an internal global database that tracked technology companies, resulting in significantly faster initiations of M&A transactions.
Sagiv also worked for the Defense Ministry as an Operations Manager. While working for the Israeli government in Hungry, Cypress, Bulgaria and Uzbekistan, and NYC Sagiv consulted, managed, and collaborated with local governmental organization on security issues. He was also a Senior Lieutenant in the Israel Defense Forces at where he managed infantry unit logistics and operations.
Sagiv received a Bachelor of Arts Summa Cum Laude from the University of California Los Angeles with College Honors in Business Economics and a minor in Accounting. He received the UCLA Chancellor Distinguished Student Award and the UCLA Economics Department Excellence Award. He is a instructor at UCLA Extension where he teaches Real Estate market Analysis.
Chief Financial Officer
Joe El Rady is Chief Financial Officer of the Roman Group, where he formulates investment strategies and recommendations that investment decisions.
Joe is a financing, credit market and special situations expert with significant capital raising and restructuring experience across a wide variety of industries.
Joe began his finance career at Houlihan Lokey, Wall Street’s preeminent financial restructuring firm. During his time as an investment banker at Houlihan Lokey, Joe focused on private placements of debt and equity securities in connection with restructurings, refinancing, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, growth capital and acquisitions. During Mr. El Rady’s time at Houlihan Lokey, the firm restructured General Motors, Lehman Brothers, and the Government of Iraq.
After Houlihan Lokey, Joe served as Principal with Frontier Group, helping to manage their Asian Private Equity Fund in Hong Kong.
Joe is a frequent writer, blogger, lecturer, and speaker on financial and economic issues. He teaches economics and finance at the University of California, Los Angeles, and is working on his first book.
Joe spends most of his private time on sports/fitness and also contributes to various causes and charities. He is a former Chief Financial Officer and member of the board of trustees of the Orange County Family Justice Center Foundation.
Joe holds an undergraduate degree with honors from Stanford University and an MBA in finance from the Wharton School. He wrote an MBA thesis on the development of the California economy. He speaks fluent Arabic, Armenian and Spanish.
